It's a pretty bleak week in the WWE. Depression amongst many of the wrestlers, according to The Observer. Most are very negative about the state of the business and the direction of the company.
Kurt Angle injury return
Kurt Angle is returning on this episode after main-eventing WrestleMania and the doctor's advice was probably, you should just not come back, mate. They're like, yeah, we kind of need you, Kurt.
Bad Blood main event change
The original plan for the next WWE Raw pay-per-view, Bad Blood, was going to see Triple H put the world title on the line against Goldberg. However, they pivoted towards a Triple H-Kevin Nash feud.
Mick Foley return
Mick Foley will be part of the Hell in a Cell match as guest referee. This was Mick Foley's idea. Not because he misses the business, but because he just released a book called 'Tietam Brown' and he needs a bit of pub for it.
WWE marketing failure
WWE announced to the press and sent out marketing publications that the main event was Triple H versus Goldberg, and nobody changed it or chased it up. The Goldberg-Triple H promotion for Bad Blood is out of hand.
Kurt Angle schedule
Angle's coming back and he's coming back at top speed. He wants to do every show, wants to do every house show, wants to do every pay-per-view, and prove that he is the greatest wrestler who ever lived.
Vengeance PPV plans
The plan for Vengeance is indeed going to be Lesnar versus Angle for the title in a face versus face match.
Ultimo Dragon debut
Ultimo Dragon is scheduled to start working house shows mid this month. When he first signed, the idea was for him to work house shows every other weekend.
Cheryl Baker injury
It's reported that former Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker suffered a fractured ankle in a skydiving accident the previous weekend while filming a new series of Drop the Celebrity.
