Carlito WWE signing
Carly Colon's tryout was so impressive that they are already negotiating a deal with him. There's a tentative plan for him to have a little tickle in OVW and then start on the main roster fairly shortly after.
Jeff Hardy indie return
Jeff Hardy had his first indie match since leaving WWE this week for Impact Championship Wrestling. Hardy worked under a mask as Willow and changed the finish to put over 19-year-old Crazy K clean.
Mr. America lie detector segment
Hulk Hogan for the first time in your life you have to tell the truth. He passes the lie detector test. Mr. America lives on. How did he pass? Well, it's simple, right? Because he isn't Hulk Hogan. He is sat in that chair in the mask.
Nathan Jones injury update
Nathan Jones ain't coming back just yet. He's got bone chips in his left elbow. He's been to see Dr. James Andrews and James Andrews has gone, 'No, I'm out,' and he's going to be out for a little longer.
WWA/WWE Australia tour conflict
World Wrestling All-Stars had a three-show tour of New Zealand and Australia in which they unified the WWA title with the NWA title. Any interest there would have been was largely destroyed when WWE sent Ric Flair in a few weeks earlier.
VXV wrestling storylines
I'm really picking it being anal here, but Bobby Guns showed up mid-promo to confront Elijah Bloom. It was very Terry Funk attacking Ric Flair. The insecurity gets the better of him, and so Bobby Guns is back in the title picture.
Eddie Guerrero/Tajiri vs Team Angle
Team Angle may be better wrestlers, but they're not better cheaters than the Guerreros and the Tajiris. It's rock, paper, scissors.
Podcast milestone
I'm thinking to do something special all jokes aside because we are fast approaching episode 200. I think it'd be nice to get some voices on here to celebrate 200.
Sable WWE segment
Sable is the guest ring announcer here and she gets into it using a Conrad Thompsonism. She was like, 'I'm the top diva on SmackDown and I was backstage and I thought to myself, self, I should be the guest ring announcer.'
Wrestling production standards
These companies that do commentary over the live PA system at a show, fuck all the way off. What a horrible, horrible thing to do. It's off-putting for the wrestlers, for the fans.
