F Around & Try Us: SmackDown 3/27/26 Review | RASD
Steve Macklin injury
An apparent injury to Steve Macklin halted the main event of Sacrifice as he was unable to continue. The match ended abruptly after Macklin appeared to be rocked by a super kick.
U.S. Championship change
Sami Zayn hits the Helluva Kick and he pins Carmelo Hayes to become the U.S. Champion one more time.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu
Nick Aldis makes the match official for WrestleMania, but instead he makes it an unsanctioned match.
Concussion protocols
If it's a suspected concussion, I will 10 times out of 10 take the proper protocol here to stop the match rather than someone trying to gut it out and get to a finish.
WrestleMania card booking
I don't think I am able to completely overlook the fact that they've gone straight to a match graphic and everything for Sami Zayn versus Trick Williams at WrestleMania for the U.S. title with Carmelo Hayes just forgotten about.
WrestleMania plans
Nick Aldis has been so impressed with Trick Williams that he wants to give him a WrestleMania match. No opponent determined, he just wants to give him a match.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Julia match quality
The chemistry is just not good in this early portion here. Julia ends up hitting the Arrivederci knee for a two-count. Stratton goes for the PME, but Kiana James distracts on the floor causing a delay.
Match quality critique
This was easily the worst match on SmackDown in several weeks if not months. It was really, really bad.
SmackDown review
I think the big headline of the show is the fact that Kit Wilson, Jelly Roll, and the Bellas outperformed Julia versus Tiffany Stratton in my opinion.
WWE merchandise/branding
Someone in the back or in marketing has recently discovered FAFO, probably a few years too late and seems to be obsessed with it.
