State of the wrestling industry

Pro wrestling is getting to a point where it's becoming a little bit too corporate and the average fan is getting priced out and pushed out and once that happens you're going to lose the heart and soul of this industry.

Killer Kross

Fan engagement and corporate wrestling

If you ever start making the crowd feel like they are alienated from the show, if you start making them feel like they are paying to be background actors in an event and what they're saying and doing doesn't really matter, I don't know where that takes us, but I don't want to find out.

Killer Kross

Fan behavior and industry trends

There's a massive cultural shift in the wrestling fan base today. They are searching consciously and subconsciously for authenticity. If things feel too controlled or they're being told what to like or what to dislike, they're not falling for that stuff anymore.

Killer Kross

Independent wrestling career

The time away from major companies and just being in the markets independently, it's been an invaluable learning experience. I've learned so much about everything on ground level and I got nothing but good things to say, no complaints.

Killer Kross

Fan interaction/WWE vs. Indies

When you're in a major company, meet and greets are limited. They rip people through those lines. I don't rush anybody through my lines when they come to meet me. I have long conversations with them.

Personal life update

My mom is a cancer survivor and she is completely cancer free; she finished all of her treatments so that alone is amazing.

William Regal's influence

Regal actually brought this to my attention a couple of years ago. When people come up to Regal, he asks them questions about what they like and what they dislike because he wants genuine, real feedback. I have done that ever since.

Personal growth and book

I had like a zero to 100 explosive temper. I was involved in a lot of combat sports growing up. I accidentally conditioned those types of behavioral patterns. My mind would go there when diplomacy failed really, really quickly.
