Tony Khan/WWE acquisition attempt
Tony Khan, according to court filings, his company, Base 10, placed a bid on WWE when it was up for sale in 2023.
I wonder if he would have just bought it and just like folded it immediately and just said, 'Fuck you.' That would have been stupid, but when you're a billionaire and you're a wrestling fanatic, you could do that.
I think what I regret most is we haven't been able to see, we've been denied a reality where we got to see the Busted Open's of the world have to pivot because I think they would have tried for a couple weeks to pivot to TNA and MLW and realize that's not where the audience was.
I wish there was a third option. I wish like my thought is in a way I'm glad it didn't happen because I don't think a monopoly is good for wrestling. But on the other hand, I also don't like the reality that we got instead.
WWE vs. Observer Awards
I have never seen WWE in all of the most petty days of Vince McMahon. I have never seen anything like this year's Wrestling Observer. They are actively just bitching and moaning about it on the air.
Booker T Appreciation Night
I am positive that Booker cut his own angle here. Because it made no sense. It made no sense for him to be mad at that time while the locker room was out clapping for him.

I think Booker T might be the worst announcer I've heard in the last 10 years anywhere. He is fucking horrible. He is Don West without every good part of Don West with zero charm.

I just fully expect one day someone saying, 'Yeah, we set the entire like run of Memphis on fire because it's a tax write-off.' We melted it down and made Jerry Lawler watch because his tears produce a dividend.
NXT television quality
It's bad in a way that feels kind of oddly well-oiled. It's not fun; it's not like shitty NWA. It's more competent than that, but it also sucks a lot.
