Tony Khan/AEW bid for WWE
One of the things that came out was that one of the companies that placed a bid on WWE was Base 10, and Base 10 is a company backed by AEW's Tony Khan.
Ricochet social media controversy
Ricochet responded by telling her that she was glad she had MS. Just a stupid, stupid thing to write. It stayed up for a while.
I just think he's a goof. All the social media training in the world isn't going to help that idiot.
Potential future WWE sale
If and when WWE is ever for sale... it's going to be Saudi Arabia or Tony Khan who buy the thing. I mean, that's the only logical play.
Brock Lesnar vs. Obafemi
I'm not familiar enough with Oba's work. Can he go in there and have an 18-20 minute competitive match with Brock? If he can, sure. But if he can't, less is more. Get him out there, let him get a big win, let him make a big statement and get it over quick.
IWC tribalism
The tribalism that exists pretty much is confined to the internet wrestling community, that kind of cesspool of folks that live and breathe and get their dopamine hits by being critical of other people and other organizations.
Brock Lesnar retirement rumors
There was a report that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have informed WWE management that they will not be losing... that's the dumbest freaking thing I've ever heard. That's not the way this works.
John Laurinaitis's WCW role
I brought Johnny [Laurinaitis] in initially to help with finishes... but it became obvious to me that in addition to his input on booking, he could fill a need with regard to talent relations.
Stone Cold Steve Austin in-ring return
Steve [Austin] knows he can't go out there and deliver on the audience's expectation... No performer wants to go out there knowing you're going to under-deliver based on unrealistic expectations.
Wrestling ticket pricing
I'm not going to get into the ticket pricing debate. Every business is in business to make as much money as they can... If the ticket prices are higher in one company than the other, but the market will sustain it, good for them.
