WWE Extreme Rules 2027
Card Predictions
No disqualifications. No countouts. No mercy. Our full card predictions for WWE Extreme Rules 2027 — every stipulation match, championship defence, and brutal encounter predicted.
WWE's Brutal Signature Event
Extreme Rules has a storied history as the show where WWE drops the guardrails. Every match operates under extreme rules — no disqualifications, no countouts — and the card typically features the most violent, weapon-heavy bouts on the calendar. Championships change hands here in ways they never could on a regular pay-per-view.
In 2027, with feuds built across a full year, Extreme Rules is the natural destination for grudge matches that need a decisive, brutal conclusion. Here are our full card predictions with reasoning behind each call.
WWE Championship — Extreme Rules
Main EventGunther's methodical European style collides with Breakker's raw, explosive power in a match that has been building for months. Under extreme rules, Breakker's physicality is amplified — no holds barred means spears through announce tables, running powerslams onto steel steps, and a pace Gunther struggles to maintain for thirty minutes. The Ring General's experience and technical precision remain his greatest weapon even without the rulebook protecting him.
Prediction: Gunther retains via submission after a brutal 30-minute war — but just barely. The reign continues into the next major event.
World Heavyweight Championship — I Quit Match
Co-Main EventThe I Quit stipulation favours Sami Zayn's storytelling instincts — his ability to sell, sell, sell, and then fire back creates the kind of drama that has the crowd on its feet. Damian Priest's South American street fighting background makes him legitimately dangerous in a lawless environment. Expect interference attempts, false finishes, and at least one false "I Quit" before the real conclusion.
Prediction: Sami Zayn wins the World Heavyweight Championship — he refuses to quit, survives three South of Heaven attempts, and wins when Priest's jaw is locked in an armbar he physically cannot endure.
WWE Women's Championship — Extreme Rules
Title MatchRhea Ripley under extreme rules is arguably the most dangerous performer in WWE regardless of gender. Her physicality, ring psychology, and willingness to absorb punishment make her dominant even in chaotic stipulations. Bayley's veteran ring awareness is her best counter-weapon.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley retains — three kendo stick shots from Bayley, two table spills, and Rhea still wins with the Riptide onto the steel steps.
Predicted Extreme Undercard
Ladder Match — US Championship
Title MatchLogan Paul (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton
Prediction: Kevin Owens wins — the veteran heel finally gets his redemption moment, climbing the ladder while Logan Paul is laid out with a Stunner at the base.
Tables Match
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
The feud that won't die gets its violent conclusion. Tables matches are won by sending your opponent through — and both men have enough history to make every near-elimination feel like a potential finish. Prediction: CM Punk wins via GTS through the announce table, ending the feud definitively.
Extreme Rules Tag Match
The Judgment Day vs. The New Day
New Day with kendo sticks and steel chairs is a sight to behold. The Judgment Day's numbers advantage is nullified under extreme rules when you can bring in your own equalizers. Prediction: The New Day wins after Kofi Kingston's vintage Trouble in Paradise on Finn Bálor through a chair.
Extreme Rules Championship History
Extreme Rules has produced some of WWE's most memorable title changes. The lawless environment removes protective booking — here, anyone can win if the story demands it. Championship reigns built on extreme rules victories tend to feel earned in a way that clean wins sometimes don't.
No DQ
Every match operates under extreme rules — weapons, interference, and brutality are fair game throughout the entire card.
Stipulations
Additional stipulations — I Quit, Tables, Ladders — are layered on top of the extreme rules base for marquee matches.
Title Changes
Historically one of the highest championship change rates of any WWE premium live event — expect at least two title changes in 2027.
