SmackDown vs Raw 2026 — Which Show Wins?

Raw in the Netflix Era
When Raw moved to Netflix in January 2025 after more than three decades on USA Network, it was the biggest distribution shift in WWE history. The global premium events — which stream free on Netflix for subscribers — have been transformative for international audience reach, particularly in the UK, Middle East, and Southeast Asia where WWE has historically had massive but underserved fan bases.
The verdict for 2026: SmackDown remains the better show on a week-to-week quality basis thanks to its tighter format and consistent storytelling. But Raw's Netflix platform gives it a structural advantage in audience reach and long-term revenue potential. The WWE Draft held each spring reshuffles the roster, so the competitive balance between the two shows will shift again in mid-2026 — whichever brand gets the stronger roster in the next draft will likely win the viewer perception battle heading into the second half of the year.
