When Nia Jax left WWE in 2021 following her release, there were questions about whether she would return and what version of her would come back. She answered both. The version that returned in 2023 was more confident, more self-aware as a performer, and more comfortable in the villainous role that suits her physical presence perfectly.

Nia Jax winning the Raw Women's Championship represented something genuinely different at the top of the women's division.
