David Finlay AEW signing
David Finley officially finished up with New Japan Pro Wrestling this past week. He's done there. As of now, of course, he can still appear. He is now in AEW.
Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd AEW signings
Clark Connors is officially signed. We had given word that this was going to occur a couple weeks ago. Gabe Kidd was a little bit more of a foggy territory... but he does have an AEW deal.
AEW and NJPW working relationship
I asked Rocky Romero about this last week... how do you feel about [AEW taking New Japan talent] and he goes, 'Well, the alternative is them going to WWE and us never getting the possibility to use them ever.'
Tommaso Ciampa AEW rumors
I literally text somebody tonight and said run me that contract info [regarding Tommaso Ciampa].
David Finlay WWE rumors
I never reported he [David Finlay] was going to WWE and it was like some big loss. I reported that they had contact and they did, but there was not really an update for a number of weeks on that and people that I talked to in WWE did not seem to think that he was coming into the company.
Gabe Kidd potential
I think that Gabe Kidd should lead that group [The Dogs]. Nothing against David Finley. I like David Finley an awful lot. He has improved significantly. But I just think that Gabe Kidd is main event level ready right now.
AEW booking philosophy
I don't need champions facing champions. And we're going to talk about more champions winning titles later on.
AEW Revolution coverage
I've got an early-ish flight the next morning out of Louisville. So I'll be probably popping on the top of the show to give scoops and all that stuff. And then in the days that follow, I'll have a Fightful Select review.
Hangman Page character development
I'm not a big fan of this angle [Hangman Page vs MJF], but I am a big fan of it possibly giving Hangman another reason to be depressed from an on-screen perspective.
Fightful programming updates
I thought I'd be doing the Revolution show on Fightful Select, but now I'm doing it on the main show. But also on the main show this Saturday is Vengeance Day... it's me and SP3 doing the NXT Vengeance Day show.
