Toni Storm injury/absence
We did get that report this week that Toni Storm is going to miss the remainder of 2026. And it sounds like she's going to be out for a lengthy amount of time. We did not get any details on why.
New Japan Cup winner
Callum Newman moves on to the finals this morning to face Yuya Uemura. He became the youngest New Japan Cup winner at 23 years old.
Mistico AEW signing
It was one of the best moments of the night on Sunday... not just how good the trios title match was, but just that big moment for Mistico at the end, getting the graphic on the screen and running his music back.
New Japan Cup results
Callum Newman ended up hitting Goto with a low blow and a Prince's Curse to win and advance to the semifinals.
Oba political controversy
He [Oba] said that in college, he listened to a lot of Joe Rogan and some other Joe Rogan minions... I don't know if that means he's MAGA, it just means he listens to Joe Rogan and he probably listens to some of this other manosphere stuff that I think is not good.
WrestleMania plans
It kind of feels like at this point, even though the report was Royce and Jelly Roll, it kind of feels like that's going to be Danhausen's spot. I think that that report might be a little bit premature.
LaRussell controversy
This whole thing started out with LaRussell saying 'my engineer said I shouldn't put this out.' An engineer has never been more right, dog. This is the rightest an engineer in history has ever been.
Yuya Uemura career trajectory
I'm prepared to say he's [Yuya Uemura] the best babyface in the company. You can see a lot of Hiroshi Tanahashi in him and it's not going to be long. This guy is eventually going to be a big-time player in this company.
WWE Hall of Fame
I saw somebody talking about the celebrity wing and how cool it is that Dennis [Rodman] is in there... to me, Arsenio Hall has to be in the WWE Hall of Fame at some point. The amount of wrestler interviews he's got, just the Macho Man interviews alone.
New Japan Cup analysis
I was really surprised [by Yujiro vs. Takeshita]. I would highly recommend, if you just watched the main event of this show, go back and watch Yujiro versus Takeshita.
