AEW departure and MLW signing
I knew that they [MLW] were a good fit because they were so adamant and I need to hear that sometimes because I came from a place where catering was okay, but it's very nice to hear someone have the confidence in you.
AEW creative frustration
I had a match with Toni Storm that went very well. We opened the show, full segment, no commercials. They said, 'Hey, cut a promo after.' It was one take and I wasn't really even prepared, but it went well. And I thought, 'All right, this is it. We just killed this match.' We were trending on Twitter, killed this promo, the Spicy Frost thing is going to go. And then I just sat home again for another few months.
It was always very start and stop. I think the fans were receptive. Agents, producers were accepting and so were the other wrestlers, it was just, I don't know, stalemate.
Feud with Shotzi
I'm pretty certain we're going to run into each other. She [Shotzi] said she wants to play. I don't know if you saw that tweet, but I think our definitions of play are very, very different.
MLW future
I think it is special to be a part of someone's rise because I do feel like they [MLW] are getting more steam, more momentum, more notoriety. And they've always been around, right? They've been a mainstay.
CMLL status
AEW has a working relationship with CMLL as well, so it's not over.
Character evolution
I had to settle into [the Frozen gimmick] and I feel like Frozen came out at the time and I was a babyface and it was very easy to just put me in that box and it could feel a little cheesy as a babyface and I was ready to either scrap it entirely.
Social media pressure
I think when all that's coming at you [social media], I was like, 'I'm just going to throw my phone into the woods' because I don't know how famous people do this.
