Bayley's character transformation is one of the most complete in Women's wrestling history. She arrived in WWE as the loveable underdog — sincere, passionate, deeply relatable. Her NXT Women's Championship rivalry with Sasha Banks is considered one of the finest feuds in developmental history. But it was her heel turn that revealed the full scope of her talent. The "Role Model" persona — sharp, condescending, self-righteous — gave Bayley the creative freedom she had never previously had, and she used every second of it to create some of the most entertaining character work on the roster.
